Yes, if you are applying for fundraising help you can choose other options too. We can help with collecting the funds for medications for SMA, like Spinraza or Risdiplan.
The donation may be used only for the purchase of medications or the costs connected to the therapy, like extra medical aids, equipment. If necessary you can use it also for accommodation and traveling costs.
No, the collected money can’t be transfered to any family member or relative in any cicumstances. Wecan only transfer the money directly to the hospital and therapy clinic who will order the medications and will take care of the child. All other costs will be transferred only after proof of purchase and against an invoice.
In any unforseen reasons where the amount can’t be used for the child the Foundation will consult with the parents about the possibilities they have. The collected funds can be used for further medications or equipment for the child, or can be transferred to treat or improve the condition of another sick child who is in legal contract with the Foundation.
The following international payment options are available for you: PayPal accounts in different currencies, credit card payments possibilities by Simple Pay, international wire transfer payments and multi-currency accounts at Wise.
PayPal: deducts commission and transfer costs from the amounts donated on PayPal accounts, and then transfers the amount in HUF to the foundation’s account. (The amount of these fees can vary by country and be found on the PayPal page.)
Simple Pay: Donations received here by paying with card ont he donation page have no commission, only a 4% transfer fee.
Wise: Wire transfers are possible through multi-currency accounts, most suitable for the donator, having just the fee of the wire-transfer between bank accounts in the same currency (if the donator chooses an account in the same currency as his bank account he makes the transfer from).
Balance notifications and account updates are sent to you every Tuesday.
Before signing the contract, we need a genetic medical documents to prove the child’s illness (SMA) to avoid fraud and abuse.
After signing the contract we need the Story of the child and pictures to set up the donation page.
